Munkee Jewelry is the creation of Sarah Zahran, a self-taught jewelry designer from Windsor, Ontario. After completing her Master’s in Sociology in 2005, she attempted to take her passion for making jewelry and turn it into a career.

Sarah finds her inspiration in the materials she uses. She is especially passionate about Venetian and Murano glass beads, which can be found in many of her creations. Also, she often has design ideas pop into her head while she is watching tv or day-dreaming.

At Munkee Jewelry we believe that handmade items are always preferable to machine made ones, and we try to use handmade components whenever possible. Also, we believe that fashion should be fun. So, enjoy!
